Canoe Kids Summer Sports Day Camp 

This is the Balmy Beach Canoe Club's dynamic, high energy multi-sport summer day camp offering a full day program for boys and girls ages 8 to 12 (but not turning 13), weekly during the months of July and August.  Children participate in a wide variety of sports and games, instructional and non-instructional - soccer, lacrosse, swimming, capture-the-flag, medic as well as theme days and day trips.  Biking is our method of transportation along the beach front, therefore campers need to be confident riders.

An introduction to sprint canoeing and kayaking is provided through the instructional program twice a week to participating camp children.  The camp focuses on the child's self-esteem, active participation, sportsmanship, general fitness and FUN!  The camp runs weekly from July 3 to August 24, 2007.  Registration begins in April 11, 2007. 

Registration forms for SUMMER 2007  will be mailed April 11 and will be available on-line April 14, 2007

The Camp runs weekly in the summer from 8:45 am to 4:15 pm
(extended hours available upon request)

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM: 
For 13-15 year olds, we will be again offering this leadership program.  We have only 5 available spaces in each of the 3, 2 week sessions starting July 9.  Due to the high demand for this program, we are creating an application and these will be screened by our CIT Co-Ordinator.  The criteria to apply for these spaces will be available during March break.  This info will also be a part of our April mailer.  Email us with your name, address and telephone number.

Campers from 2006: 
Income tax receipts for 2006 will be mailed around mid-February.  All campers registered in 2006 will receive registration forms automatically.
